Most of the organ and case was formerly the Echo division of the old Austin at Downtown (formerly First) Presbyterian Church in Nashville, complete with the Egyptian-motif case that matches the design of the Nashville church. The Echo division was moved from Nashville to the Gallatin church in 1950 to become the foundation of an organ built by persons unkown at this time.
